Writing this from my standing desk (yes, I'm that person now) with my post-workout smoothie, and I'm reflecting on something that's been on my mind lately: the myth of "grinding until you make it."

The Real Talk: As COO, I spend my days building systems and processes that are supposed to make our lives easier. But here's what I've learned in the trenches of entrepreneurship—if your systems don't account for your humanity, they'll break you before they build you wealth.

What's Been Keeping Me Grounded: Last month, I implemented what I call "Energy-Based Operations." Instead of forcing myself to tackle our most complex business challenges when I'm running on fumes, I started aligning my energy levels with my task priorities. Game. Changer.

High energy = strategic planning and creative problem-solving

Medium energy = administrative tasks and team check-ins

Low energy = research, reading, and reflection

My Current Reality Check: I used to pride myself on being the "always on" co-founder. You know, the one answering emails at midnight and working weekends because "that's what it takes." But watching Ebony prioritize her morning workouts made me realize I was operating from a scarcity mindset—believing that rest meant lost opportunities.

Plot twist: The week I started protecting my sleep and workout time, we had our highest revenue week yet. Coincidence? I think not.

What I'm Learning About Systems: The best business systems mirror the best life systems. They have built-in recovery periods, they anticipate energy fluctuations, and they're designed for sustainability, not just speed. We're building Project Rich Bitch the same way—for the long game, not the quick win.

My Current Experiment: I'm testing what I call "Rhythmic Productivity"—working with my natural energy cycles instead of against them. Some days I'm a morning powerhouse, other days I hit my stride after 2 PM. Instead of fighting it, I'm designing our operations around these natural rhythms.
